The mission of the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOto) is to assure that, at the time of certification, Diplomates certified by the ABOto have met the professional standards of training and knowledge in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery set forth by the ABoto. Dr. Tomaski is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.

What does Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery mean?
Fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology provides an additional one or two year fellowship of sub-specialty training to gain extensive medical and surgical experience in the specific diseases of children with special Ear, Nose, and Throat problems including birth defects in the head and neck and developmental delays. Dr. Tomaski completed her Fellowship training at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Not many otolaryngologists choose to undergo the additional rigorous and comprehensive training required to complete a Fellowship in a sub-specialty area.
